A daughter of Billy Esser Bonta, an important cacao businessman who owns theHacienda Bukare which wasfounded in 1997. Irene Esser was born in the city of Puerto Ordaz, but since she was a little girl she studied and lived in the town of Río Caribe in Sucre state. After graduating from "Don Andres Bello High School" in Carupano, she moved to England, where she took a course at Shrewsbury College of Arts &Technology.

PAGEANT STINT
Irene is always a favorite in beauty pageants. She always possess the diva attitude when she steps intothe scene.Whether it is a national or international pageant. She was a big favorite in Miss Venezuela pageant where she won awards such a Miss Elegance and Best in Evening gown. Beating the other 23 ladies with an ease, Irene was the 59th winner of the pageant as she bagged the Miss Venezuela Universe. She was one of the top contenders then, for the awaited Miss Universe 2012 pageant whichhappened in Las Vegas, Nevada in December. Marked as a threat bythe other candidates, she continuedto spark with her spectacular moves from preliminaries to the final night. She aced the swimsuit round and evening gown efforlessly and made it in the top 5. She almost had the crown but she struggled in her answer. Everyone was left in high high hopes for her. With a second runner up finish, people still salute and named her as one of the best Miss Venezuela in history.
